Ah well, yet another shot that I think to myself, “Almost right, but fatally not.”
The foreground sandhill, the background mountains. Great idea, but the frame needs shifting to the left so that the yellow sandhill progresses better out of the blue foothills in the distance. But at the same time the girl needs to not be almost out of the frame, which means shifting to the right—but that loses the hills and the industrial facility on the left side and just make her a girl on top of a sand dune.
Oh well. It was a moment, just not a Decisive Moment.
But the pink of the girl's suit really pops against the bland colors of the sand and the industrial complex in the background.
